Today, August 9th, 2020 marks the 75th anniversary of the atomic bombing of Nagasaki. The last painting of the Hiroshima Panels (XV) is “Nagasaki” — While the Marukis did not experience the atomic bombing of Nagasaki first hand, they were well aware that passing on memories of Nagasaki is equally important.
Today, “Nagasaki” is on display at the Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum.
