- Volunteer Opportunities
Our volunteers play essential roles in sharing Marukis’ works, exhibitions, research, and educational programs and events. We welcome individuals or groups who would like to be a part of the Maruki Gallery’s activities. Volunteers activities are available both onsite at our facilities and also online.
Ways to Volunteer
Digital Volunteers | At the moment, we are working to spread the works of the Marukis to the world as well as make our archive accessible to more people by making it available in digital form. Digital volunteers assist us remotely with translating the information into English (and other languages), diffusion of information via social media, and creating archives in English. Specifically, we are in great need of support from Japanese-English (and other languages) translators, transcreators, and English writers! |
Event Volunteers | Event volunteers have the opportunity to be involved in preparing and running the Maruki Gallery’s annual events, such as the Opening Anniversary Event on May 5th and the Hiroshima Memorial Event on August 6th. There are also lectures, concerts, and other irregular events related to our special exhibitions. |
Behind-the-Scenes Volunteers | Behind-the-Scenes volunteers assist behind the scenes with special exhibition changeovers, research, archive, maintenance of the facilities and the grounds, mailing out newsletters, etc. |

We look forward to having you on our team!
